The Court of the Netherlands is full of special objects and stories. Everything is real and often very old. Are you coming? You have free admission up to and including 18 years old. There is also a ball pit and a puzzle tour especially for children. Are you coming too?
Ball pool
In Dordrecht, archaeologists have excavated all kinds of things from the Middle Ages. But what is it? And what was it used for? Search among the balls for contemporary puzzle pieces with the same shape. Or just come and play freely in the ball pool.
It is located in rte basement of Hof van Nederland and always available.
Free for children (adults can visit with a museum entrance ticket).

The Key Guilds’ Quest is an escape game through museum Hof van Nederland. There’s no room to escape from and there’s no time pressure. But please note: the only way to find the keys to the Iron Chest is to solve all the puzzles as you go. Which team will get the best score?

Museum café HofSpot is a nice place for a cup of coffee and a small bite or a lunch. There are coloring pages and pencils for the children. We also have a high chair ready for the little ones. Food and drinks you bring with you may not be consumed in the museum or restaurant. If you have special food for your baby or child with you, please ask the staff, they are happy to be of assistance.
In the disabled toilet on the ground floor at the Museum Café, there is a fold-out table where your baby can be changed. There is also always a quiet place to nurse your baby. Can't find it? Then ask one of our employees.
Carrying a child in a back carrier is not permitted in the museum rooms, but a front carrier is permitted. Buggies and prams are also allowed, but pay close attention to the objects in the rooms.
There are lockers available and there is an (unattended) cloakroom.
